Three kinds of money
Separate by design
Declared cash, POS claims and verified electronic payments are different facts. Rydmate keeps them separate so the dashboard stays useful and honest.
Verified electronic
Passengers scan the vehicle QR and pay your company account. Rydmate waits for provider confirmation before calling the fare paid.
Declared cash
A cash fare is recorded against the shift and labelled for what it is: money declared by staff, waiting to be handed in.
POS awaiting confirmation
A POS receipt reference is evidence, not settlement. Your accountant matches it before the record moves from claim to confirmed.
Reconciliation
Expected, handed in, short or over
At close of shift, the office records what was handed in. Rydmate compares it with the declared fares and writes the result against the shift and driver.
