How we onboard

You will not be left to figure it out alone.

Rydmate is set up with you, not handed over. Here is what happens before you start, in your first week, when your staff need help and if you ever decide to leave.

Before you start

How a demo works

There is no free trial. The rollout runs on a paid plan, so we start small and agree what success looks like first.

  1. A 20-minute conversation

About your ticketing, branches, vehicles, drivers and revenue reporting: how money is recorded today, where it is hard to see and what takes your time.

  2. A demo of your problems, not every feature

We show only the workflows tied to what you told us, so you can judge Rydmate on the things that matter to your business.

  3. A controlled rollout

Start with one branch or one route on a paid plan. Before you start, we agree the measures that will tell us both whether it is working.

  4. Expand when it works

When the first branch or route meets the measures, add the next. Your plan moves up only when your operation does.

Week one

One branch or one route, live

Onboarding and data migration are included on Scale and Enterprise, and quoted for Starter and Growth.

  1. Set up with you

We set up your branches, vehicles, routes and fares with you, from the records you already keep. Fares live in your settings, so staff never type a price.

  2. Add your staff

Each person gets an account with the role their job needs: drivers, cashiers, managers, accountants. A branch's staff see only their own branch.

  3. First live sales

Your first real sales go through Rydmate on one branch or one route. Everywhere else carries on as it does today.

  4. Check the first days together

We look at the first shifts with you: what was sold, what was handed in, and anything that needs adjusting before the next branch.

Training

Staff learn the job they do, on the device they use

  • On their own phones

Drivers learn on the phone they will use on the road, with the Rydmate driver app. Counter and office staff learn on the device at their desk.

  • Short sessions, by role

A driver needs to start a shift and record a fare; a cashier needs to sell a seat and close a shift. Each group learns its own screens and nothing else.

  • The guide stays with you

The product guide covers each task step by step, for staff who join after the first rollout.

Your records

What happens to your records, whatever happens

Your money is never with us
Payments go from your customers to your own account. Rydmate records them; it never holds them.
Exports
From Growth up, reports download as CSV whenever you want them, so your accountant works from the same records you do.
If you leave
You can close your account at any time; fees already paid for the current period are not refunded. For 30 days after your account closes, you can request an export of your records.
If Rydmate closes
Our terms commit us to 30 days' notice if we withdraw the service, a refund of any unused prepaid period, and 30 days after closure to request an export of your records.

The full commitments are in our terms of service.

Start with a demo

A 20-minute conversation about your ticketing, branches, vehicles, drivers and revenue reporting. Then a demo of only the workflows tied to your problems, and a rollout that starts with one branch or one route.
