Branches and terminals
Where the business operates from, and where coaches leave from.
Branches
A branch is an office or a park you run: Utako, Jabi, the Lagos depot. Vehicles, drivers and staff belong to a branch, and reports can be cut by branch. A single-site business still has one branch; it is created for you.
- 1Open Branches and add each site with its name, a short code and its address.
- 2Assign vehicles and drivers to the branch they are based at.
- 3Scope staff to a branch where they should not see the whole business.
Terminals
For transport businesses, a terminal is a place a coach leaves from or arrives at. Routes run between terminals, and the website shows terminals as the places customers find you. A branch usually has one terminal, but a large park can hold several loading points.
Archive a branch or terminal rather than deleting it. Past trips and tickets keep pointing at it, and reports for those months still add up.
