Your website

What it is

Every business gets a website built from its own records. A transport site shows routes, fares and the departures on sale, and sells seats. A logistics site shows the price list and takes orders, with a tracking box on the front. Nothing on it is typed twice: change a fare in Routes and the site changes.

Set it up

1. 1Open Website. The builder opens with words under your name, an About page, a questions page, terms, two posts and (for delivery) a starter price list. Rewrite anything.
2. 2Pick one of three designs for your kind of business, a colour palette or your own colours, a headline face and the corner shape. Upload your logo and a photograph for the top.
3. 3Save, then Preview to see it as a customer would. Publish when it is right.

Pages, blog and messages

Add pages (About, Terms, anything) and blog posts, in plain text with simple formatting and pictures. Visitors write to you from the Contact page and the messages arrive in the builder's inbox.

Your address

The site answers at your Rydmate address the moment it is published. From the Growth plan you can put it on your own domain: enter the domain in the builder, add the DNS record it shows you, and press Verify. The certificate is issued automatically.

Staff login

The site has its own sign-in page for your drivers, riders and counter staff, in your colours, so nobody has to know Rydmate's address. Switch it off in the builder if you would rather not show it.

Online payment

The site takes money only once online payments are connected in Settings. Until then it shows your phone number in place of a Pay button.
